2025 主婦的溫哥華遊學 - 「課堂寫作練習 - Wonderful Taiwan 」
每二天就會有一篇短文寫作練習，今天課本上的指示是- You are going to write a blog about a trip you have been on or place you know well.
我第一個想法就是寫台灣！
BUT！ 老師要我們儘量用‘過去式’來寫。
於是，我用最快速度寫完台灣之後，又寫了另一篇我去瑞士旅遊的文章。
和同學們交換文章時才發現今天坐在我旁邊的先生是瑞士人，住在琉森，也太巧了吧！
於是我們互相分享瑞士的照片、物價⋯
William覺得很驚訝，瑞士人也需要學英文？ 其實，我的第一個反應也是這樣😂
已經有二位同學問我在台灣如何練習英文？（一位墨西哥、一位日本人） 我都回說，沒有啊！我在台灣完全沒有念英文，我都說國語。
他們都覺得我的英文很好✌️
我覺得有可能是因為我𢤦的單字比較多，來這裡快二個禮拜，很多幾乎已經快忘記的單字都一一想起來；還有，經過不斷的練習，講英文的速度也越來越快。現在還可以和結帳的服務人員聊上幾句。（其實我不太懂，為什麼這些結帳人員一定要和顧客聊天？剛開始覺得很有壓力）
底下是我今天寫的文章，我就是硬要找各種機會介紹台灣。雖然他們都知道台灣這個國家，但，很多同學們竟然不認識我們的TSMC，我心想，對還是不對？更別說semiconducter manufacturing ，他們更是霧煞煞😂
時間不夠，所以來不及介紹我們的護國神山及半導體高科技產業。

Wonderful Taiwan
I highly recommend visiting Taiwan when you have a vacation.
One of the highlights of Taiwan for me was the delicious street food.
You must try dishes like steamed dumplings, stinky tofu, beef noodle soup, and braised pork rice. Also, don’t miss the night markets, which are vibrant and full of exciting experiences. You can enjoy street food, play fun games, and explore the lively atmosphere.
Transportation in Taiwan is very convenient. There is a high-speed rail system connecting the entire country, and the subway and buses are also excellent.
You really must visit Taipei 101, the National Palace Museum, and Sun Moon Lake—these are some of the most famous attractions in Taiwan.
By the way, Taiwanese people are friendly and helpful. You can always get assistance when you need it.
The only thing you should be aware of is that you might gain some weight after enjoying all the amazing food in Taiwan.
