上一週的英文課，是在辯論功課是否需要存在；這週的英文課作業是功課到底是好還是壞?當然，站在學生的角度來說他們一定不希望有功課，Emiko也不例外。甚至，這篇作業她寫得有些激動....XD

Homework: A good thing or a bad thing?

We just have twenty-four hours per day.  Everyone want to relax, especially students.  But homework will take our relax time, that makes many students think homework is a bad thing.  I am a student, and I think homework isn't a good thing.  If I am the minister of education, I will abolish homework.  Here are some reasons that why I think homework is a bad thing.

First, homework takes our sleep times.  Everyone know sleep can make students grow taller, and if we have enough time to sleep, we will be active and concentrate on school work, we can have better expressions at school, it can make teachers in a good mood.  But, many students do homework from afternoon to midnight, homework " eats" their time for sleep, that will reduce their expressions.

Second, homework takes our relax times.  Some people think playing and learning are opposite, learning on textbooks and write a lot of homework are more important than playing.  But they forget, playing can be another kind of learning.  Groom students' leisure activities is very serious for education, but our educate system forgets it, they think homework can make students learn better, I think appropriate playing can also make us learn better.

Third, homework deprives our time for interaction.  If you have a lot of homework, but your friends play outside, what do you think? Interaction is really important, in the future, workplaces want people who's good at interaction and communicate, not good at doing homework.  I you just do homework well, but you don't know how to make new friends and persuade other people to accept you, you aren't a successful person.

Last, homework can give students too much pressure.  If you are a student, you go home from cram class, night is coming, you feel really tired. You want to get rest, but there are many homework are waiting for you, some students will feel they're almost collapse.  Too much homework can make students almost "suffocate", if they do that day after day, they will worn out in body and soul.  Homework will make students tired and unhappy, so I think homework is a bad thing.
